Because of it's popularity it was named Oxford American Dictionary's 2010 Word of the Year.

The malamanteau "Squawk-dagon" is a neologism for a portmanteau created by incorrectly combining the onomatopoeia "squawk" (that was a malapropism for "square") and the neologism for an MMA ring "octagon".
